The Ruck for Pets and Vets saw participants march with full backpacks from Downtown Kent and through the university campus to finish at Dix Stadium. Items in the backpacks, and proceeds from the event, will assist in matching veterans and first responders with companion animals.

Honoring All Those Who Serve: 91²Ö¿â Holds its Annual Veterans Day Commemoration
The 91²Ö¿â community paid tribute to those who have served in the U.S. armed forces at the annual Veterans Day Commemoration. The program, titled “Honoring All Those Who Serve,†included a flag-raising ceremony conducted by a joint color guard from 91²Ö¿â’s Army ROTC and Air Force ROTC programs.

The University Library hosted a "Post-Election Exhale" event to help students destress with crafts, tips from 91²Ö¿â's Counseling and Psychological Services and friendly, fuzzy therapy dogs.

The Degree Completion Program allows former students who have attended 91²Ö¿â and people who have started a degree at other colleges or universities to finish their degrees at 91²Ö¿â.

91²Ö¿â invites all to pay tribute to those who have served in the U.S. armed forces and attend the university’s annual Veterans Day Commemoration. The event will take place at 11 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 8, at the Student Green on the Kent Campus.
