New Partnership Between 91²Ö¿â and Bio-Med Science Academy STEM School to Bring Elementary Education Back to University’s Schwartz Center
Beginning fall 2027, Bio-Med Science Academy will relocate its grades K-6 programs to 91²Ö¿â’s Schwartz Center. The Schwartz Center, which opened in 1956 as the home of the 91²Ö¿â School, a laboratory school that served generations of student teachers, will return to its original purpose as a school building.

The School of Art Collection and Galleries is pleased to announce "Metamorphosis," a permanent sculptural installation created by Violet Maimbourg, a Master of Fine Arts graduate student at 91²Ö¿â.

Last summer, 12 91²Ö¿â students in the university's Visual Communication Design program worked with Route Eight Studios to learn about the real-world challenges artists face in creating comic books. "Flash Fiction" is the result - an anthology of stories written and illustrated by students creators.

How One 91²Ö¿â Student Turned Pain Into Pride
When 91²Ö¿â senior Julia Michalak was in elementary school and middle school in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, the idea of going to gym class made her sick to her stomach. Now in her final year at 91²Ö¿â, Michalak will soon earn her bachelor’s degree in physical education and sport performance, with a goal to help other kids like her overcome their insecurities and learn to enjoy physical education.
