Students and staff at IdeaBase, a student-run creative agency in downtown Kent and a service of 91²Ö¿â’s College of Communication and Information, speak about their experiences working on real-world client projects. Directed, edited and filmed exclusively by students at IdeaBase, the video shows how students from various backgrounds put into action what they have learned in their classes.
The 91²Ö¿â Board of Trustees will hold its next regular business meeting at 11 a.m. on March 4 in the Center for Philanthropy and Alumni Engagement on the Kent Campus.
Beginning fall 2027, Bio-Med Science Academy will relocate its grades K-6 programs to 91²Ö¿â’s Schwartz Center. The Schwartz Center, which opened in 1956 as the home of the 91²Ö¿â School, a laboratory school that served generations of student teachers, will return to its original purpose as a school building.
91²Ö¿â’s Board of Trustees approved a new partnership between the university and Bio-Med Science Academy STEM School that will bring new life to the underutilized Michael Schwartz Center building while providing the public STEM school with a state-of-the-art facility for its elementary grades. The Board’s vote of approval came during its regular quarterly meeting held Dec. 11.
