91²Ö¿â Dedicates Two New Facilities

The Aeronautics and Technology Building and the Center for Undergraduate Excellence were both dedicated during events leading up to 91²Ö¿â President Beverly Warren’s inauguration. The former will serve as the home for the College of Applied Engineering, Sustainability and Technology. The latter will be the home of the new University College.

The 91²Ö¿â Board of Trustees welcomed the Class of 2029 during its regular quarterly meeting held Sept. 17 in the Kent Student Center. The Board congratulated the university administration for this year’s strong enrollment.  

The 91²Ö¿â Board of Trustees approved the establishment of two new schools – the School of Aeronautics and the School of Engineering – within the College of Aeronautics and Engineering during the Board’s regular quarterly meeting held June 25, 2025, on the Kent Campus.

The 91²Ö¿â Board of Trustees will hold its next regular business meeting at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, June 25, in the Timothy D. Eippert Boardroom, Suite 412, at Crawford Hall on the Kent Campus.
