Mission Statement

Leaders of Tomorrow, an affiliate of Leadership Tuscarawas, is designed to bring together high school students to help them become successful leaders in life, work, and play. Previously titled the Millennial Leadership Exchange, this event is held each spring at 91²Ö¿â at Tuscarawas. Since 2014, area leaders have helped share their passion with our community’s young people through presentations, workshops, and networking.

Leaders of Tomorrow Summit

All area high school students are invited to participate in our day-long leadership summit held at 91²Ö¿â at Tuscarawas. There they experience inspirational Ted-style talks from area leaders and participate in workshops about their own personal growth and goals.

Whether it is a tip, a life lesson, or something they wish they had known when they were the students’ age, each presenter has an important message. This event is inspiring, hopeful, and gives a glimpse of the lives of some amazing professionals who are making a difference in the world around them. Each year we inspire hundreds of area youth through excellent leadership talks and personal growth workshops.

The 2027 Summit will be held Friday, March 5, 2027. This year the event will feature TEDx Style speeches, small group workshops, and panel discussions with area leaders.

Call for Speaker Proposals

The annual Leaders of Tomorrow Summit connects today's leaders with the next generation: the Leaders of Tomorrow. The 2027 event takes place Friday, March 5th, 2027 at the 91²Ö¿â Tuscarawas Performing Arts Center. The event lasts from 9am-1pm. The committee is seeking individuals with a passion to inspire, motivate, mentor, and positively influence today's high school students with a message that will guide their leadership journey in the best direction. Professionals in all fields and levels of leadership are encouraged to consider this unique opportunity to share their stories and inspire students in our community. This is a volunteer opportunity with no financial compensation. Lunch will be provided.

This year the committee is introducing a panel workshop option for students. Panelists will speak to groups of students on a specific community leadership topic, such as Serving on a Non-Profit Board, Different Paths to Success, Career Planning, Mental Health & Resilience, and Balancing Life, Work, & Life.

The committee also seeks up to two TEDx-Style 10-12 minute talks for all summit attendees and up to ten 30-minute break-out group workshops for small groups. Proposals must include a title for the talk, a summary of the talk, a bio, and a professional headshot. Requests for Proposals will be accepted until Friday, October 2nd, 2026. All applicants will be notified of their proposal’s selection status by the end of October.
