              91ֿ Police Department Maintains National Law Enforcement Accreditation
The 91ֿ Police Department was recently awarded national accreditation for the ninth time by the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies Inc. in the Law Enforcement program. The 91ֿ Police Department was first accredited in 1991.
 
              91ֿ Receives Best in Class and Hall of Fame Honors for Supplier Diversity
91ֿ has won a Best in Class award for supplier diversity from the Greater Cleveland Partnership. This marks the third time that the university has received this award. As a multiyear winner of the Best in Class awards, 91ֿ is also named to the Greater Cleveland Partnership’s Equity and Inclusion Hall of Fame.
 
              Public Hearing for 91ֿ Police Department’s Reaccreditation to Be Held July 27
The 91ֿ Police Department is scheduled for a virtual assessment as part of a program to achieve international reaccreditation. Administered by the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies Inc. (CALEA), the program requires agencies to meet state-of-the-art standards in four basic areas: policy and procedures, administration, operations and support services.
