March 2025 Lunar Eclipse from the 91²Ö¿â Airport

  Staying up late and braving the chilly overnight temperatures, Michael Gershe, senior advisor II in 91²Ö¿â's College of Aeronautics and Engineering took photos of the "Blood Moon" lunar eclipse that occurred from about 1 a.m. - 3:30 a.m. on March 14. Winner of the 91²Ö¿â Advisor Impact Award

University Advising is pleased to announce the first quarter 2025 winner of 91²Ö¿â’s Advisor Impact Award – Lauren Huffman! Lauren joined the Honors College in 2017 and is currently the Coordinator II of Advising in the Honors College at 91²Ö¿â. Lauren coordinates honors advising, manages the honors DKS, serves as the staff mentor for Alpha Lambda Delta, and coordinates the Phi Beta Kappa Chapter. Please join us in congratulating Lauren! 

Save the date: Juneteenth Jubilee

91²Ö¿â will commemorate Juneteenth with a community celebration that combines the rich history of Black Americans with an assortment of festivities. Juneteenth Jubilee will be held on Wednesday, June 18, 2025, from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. on the Kent Campus, Student Green/Risman Plaza. Enjoy live performances, music, great food, vendors and more. This event is free and open to the public.

10-Day Writing Sprints continue

The 10-Day Writing Sprint is designed to help faculty jumpstart their writing productivity by fostering consistency, focus and momentum. Through structured daily writing sessions, goal setting, and accountability, participants will make measurable progress on their writing projects—whether it’s a manuscript, grant proposal, article or other scholarly work.
