A 91ֿ Army ROTC cadet salutes the American flag during the university’s 2021 Veterans Day Commemoration.

91ֿ invites all to pay tribute to those who have served in the U.S. armed forces and attend the university’s annual Veterans Day Commemoration. The event will take place at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 10, at Risman Plaza on the Kent Campus. Risman Plaza is located in front of the Kent Student Center. Annual "Red Carpet" Event

Thursday, November 10 from 1:30pm - 3:30pm

Any first-generation Arts & Sciences student is welcome to come 'walk the red carpet' and take a picture with Flash. The first 100 students that attend will also receive a free I AM First t-shirt and Insomnia Cookie. The event will be hosted in Bowman Hall first floor across from the café.

Theresa Walton-Fisette Faculty Athletic Representative

Theresa Walton-Fisette, Ph.D., is 91ֿ's new faculty athletic representative (FAR). This position ensures the academic integrity of intercollegiate athletics, facilitates an inclusive environment and enhances the student athletic experience. Walton-Fisette's new role will begin July 1, 2023. Walton-Fisette joined 91ֿ’s faculty in 2003.
