Job Description
Serves as the chief academic and administrative officer of 91²Ö¿â at Geauga and the Twinsburg Academic Center, providing direction and assuming responsibility for all aspects of campus administration and operation. Dean Spalsbury provides leadership in the development, implementation and review of academic and administrative policies and procedures in all major areas of operation and administers all academic and nonacademic programs. Spalsbury leads and directs all campus outreach activities and serves as the principal representative with local external agencies, which includes identifying community programmatic needs, obtaining financial support, maintaining a base of public community support and serving as the primary advocate and spokesperson for 91²Ö¿â Geauga and Twinsburg Academic Center. She recommends all personnel actions to the appropriate 91²Ö¿â administrative officer and serves as a Regional Campus representative at appropriate university bodies, committees and councils.
As Interim Associate Vice President for the Regional Campus System, Spalsbury serves as the senior officer responsible for overall leadership of the 91²Ö¿â Regional Campus system. She oversees the operations of the seven Regional Campuses, promotes student enrollment and academic success, and is responsible for expanding the visibility, influence and effectiveness of 91²Ö¿â as a catalyst for regional development.
