Fall Brings New Programs and New Successes to the Ambassador Crawford College of Business and Entrepreneurship
Over the past year, the college has been in discussions with programs on campus that wanted to join the Ambassador Crawford College of Business and Entrepreneurship. These opportunities would not have been possible without Crawford Hall, as the new building is approximately 50 percent larger than the previous Business Administration Building.
This fall, we were pleased to welcome three new programs to the college – sport administration, hospitality and event management, and advertising. Two of these programs formed the new Department of Sport, Hospitality and Event Management, while the advertising program joined the Department of Marketing and Entrepreneurship. We were happy to welcome our new students and colleagues who now call Crawford Hall home. These programs will expand our course offerings and increase collaboration with these disciplines.
In recent months, the college’s faculty and programs have received high marks in national rankings, including ranking No. 1 in Ohio for the online MBA program. Faculty recognitions this year include two information systems faculty who were highly ranked by the Association for Information Systems (AIS) Research Rankings in 2026, and an award-winning accounting professor.
These accomplishments reflect the dedication of our faculty, staff and students and the continued support of our alumni and donors. I look forward to sharing more of the college’s progress with you in the year ahead.
With gratitude,
Deborah F. Spake, Ph.D.
