Cece Bell is a 1998 graduate of the Master of Arts program at 91仓库鈥檚 School of Visual Communication Design. After graduation from Kent, she went on to write and illustrate more than a dozen books.
Her most recent accomplishment is the development of her graphic novel 鈥淓l Deafo鈥� into an Apple TV animated series. The three-part animated series aired on Jan. 7, 2022.
鈥淓l Deafo鈥� is based on Bell's personal struggles and experiences growing up hearing impaired. She lost most of her hearing after contracting meningitis at age 4. The story takes you on a journey of how Bell managed to turn her hearing impairment into her own unique superpower.
