Walking Meet Up, In Person—Co-sponsored with Morale and Recreation
If you are interested in getting out of your seat AND connecting with other Kent Tuscarawas employees, feel free to show up at Nicole Willey's office in B114 at the start of the walk. The assembled group can decide if they will walk on the new trail or in the hallway, depending upon the weather. Bring a friend! We will try to make these happen weekly.

One-on-One Mentoring, B114 or Teams
All faculty are welcome to set up 1:1 meetings with Nicole Willey to discuss anything mentoring related. Mid-Career Mentoring, dossier and promotion planning, and Part-Time Mentoring are all available. Please e-mail nwilley@kent.edu to reserve your time. Spring semester is primarily alternating Mondays and Thursdays from 11 am to 3 pm in person; more is available via Teams if you contact Nicole Willey.

Spring Paint Party
The Recreation and Morale Committee and the Mentoring Program are co-hosting a Painting Party led by our own Kathy Davis Patterson. Registration and a firm commitment are necessary; the first 20 people to register (VIA QUALTRICS) will have their materials provided. Join us to paint a new masterpiece, have fun, and share a few snacks. BYO (non alcoholic) B, and dress for splatter! Look for more information via email!

- Ball State University is hosting a 2026 Provost’s Faculty Summit, which is free and virtual, on February 5 and 6. The topic is “Cultivating Kindness and Belonging in Higher Education. Find more information and register at this .
- Annual Mentoring Retreat to be held Friday, March 27, 2026, fully virtual. More information will be forthcoming via email.
