Two longtime community leaders are stepping forward to help open doors for the next generation of 91²Ö¿â Tuscarawas students.

Frank J. Rose Jr. and Kevin Korns will lead the 91²Ö¿â Tuscarawas County University Foundation’s For the Future Impact Campaign, encouraging individuals and businesses throughout the region to invest in scholarships and student success.

Longtime community leaders Frank J. Rose Jr. and Kevin Korns will help lead the campaign, encouraging individuals and businesses throughout the region to invest in local students and educational opportunities.

“Frank and Kevin have each demonstrated an extraordinary commitment to our community and 91²Ö¿â Tuscarawas,â€ said Brad Bielski, dean and chief administrative officer of 91²Ö¿â Tuscarawas. “Their leadership reflects what this campaign is all about: neighbors investing in students and helping create a stronger future for our community.â€

Rose, a retired attorney and former president and longtime partner of Fitzpatrick, Zimmerman & Rose Co., L.P.A., served 40 years on the Tuscarawas County University Branch District Board of Trustees. During his tenure, he served as fiscal officer, vice chairman and chairman, helping guide the physical growth and long-term development of the 91²Ö¿â Tuscarawas campus.

A graduate of John Carroll University and Case Western Reserve University School of Law, Rose practiced law locally for 42 years serving area families and businesses through his legal career.

At the heart of the For the Future campaign is the Founders Fund, which provides scholarships and support for 91²Ö¿â Tuscarawas students.

“Our students are determined, hardworking, and ready to make an impact on the world, said Chad Conrad, director of philanthropy. “By supporting this campaign, you are investing in their future and in the future of our community.

Since 1968, the Tuscarawas County University Foundation has supported 91²Ö¿â Tuscarawas through scholarships, student initiatives and campus facilities.

“We are asking our community to stand behind our students, Bielski said. “Every gift to the Founders Fund helps provide opportunities that can transform lives right here in Tuscarawas County.
