Lisa A. Borgerding, Ph. D., a professor of science education in 91²Ö¿â's School of Teaching, Leadership, and Curriculum Studies, was awarded the Association of Science Teacher Education 2026 Award for Outstanding Science Teacher Educator of the Year (Level 2) at the organization's conference in Chicago on January 17.

Borgerding has taught science teaching methods for over 20 years and says she is grateful for the hundreds of preservice science teachers with whom she has worked to share a love of science education.
