IN A FLASH: It's Not Just One Day

Candlelight Walk and Vigil 2024 — 91�ֿ�'s annual May 4 Commemoration candlelight walk and vigil.

2025's 55-year May Commemoration at 91�ֿ� includes a full schedule of events. But remembering the tragic events of 1970 isn't just confined to a few days each May at 91�ֿ�. May 4's legacy is part of living and learning at 91�ֿ� throughout the year, whether it be echoed in themes of activism in a stage play about banned books, efforts to educate and inspire first-time voters or a tour of the May 4 Visitors Center by the U.S. Transportation Secretary.

Pete Buttigieg with Todd Diacon at the May 4 Visitors Center — In June, 2024, then-U.S. Transportation Secretary Pete Buttegieg visited 91�ֿ�. His tour included meeting with students at 91�ֿ�'s College of Aeronautics and Engineering and a walk through the May 4 Visitors Center.
