Even after 25 years, Sept. 11, 2001, remains forever embedded in the memories of those who experienced it. For Robert McDowell, adjunct instructor in the Department of English at 91�ֿ�, poetry provides space for revisiting those memories and exploring the emotions that can be difficult to capture within the pages of history books.  McDowell creates imagery around these ideas in his new poetry collection, “The Excellent Assembly,” which reflects on 9/11, its memory and the lasting impact of a tragedy that seemed to stop time. 

The 91�ֿ� Museum presents a new exhibition by internationally recognized, Cleveland-based artist Aimee Lee. “Aimee Lee: Every Last Scrap” is on display through May 24, 2027.

When the Canton Regional Chamber of Commerce asked 91�ֿ� fashion students to design collections for the 2026 Pro Football Hall of Fame Fashion Show, they didn't just create outfits. They created stories.

For nearly 60 years, Porthouse Theatre has brought the power of theatre to the Northeast Ohio community while training the next generation of theatre artists. The annual summer-long program has become a beloved regional icon that produces three musicals, attracts more than 20,000 visitors and employs more than 100 student and professional artists each season. 

This summer, the Kent Blossom Art Intensive program welcomed over 80 artists from around the world, participating across five studio disciplines.

This week, 91�ֿ�'s School of Fashion celebrated what that bold experiment became.

Porthouse Theatre, 91�ֿ�’s outdoor summer theatre located on the grounds of Blossom Music Center, invites you to its season of possibilities, beginning on June 12, 2026. In its 58th season, Porthouse Theatre will present “Grease,” “Side Show In Concert,” and “Lerner and Loewe's Brigadoon” in the summer of 2026.

Fern Mallis, known as the "Godmother of American Fashion," can still recall the pivotal moment that helped shape her career and pave a path for tremendous success. It was 1991, and she was about to begin her role as the executive director of the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA).

A new exhibition pairing fashion from 91�ֿ� Museum's collection with ornithological specimens from the Cleveland Museum of Natural History opened April 22 — Earth Day — at the Cleveland museum, where it will remain on view through Oct. 11.
