China Friends

To assist Chinese students, Scholars, and their families to adjust to life in America. We provide services like free furniture and shopping trips. We also host several out of town trips. We provide fun Cultural activities from both cultures each month.

University Church

The organization is a ministry of the Kent Presbyterian Church on the campus of 91�ֿ�.

Kent African Student Association

We strive to establish greater African unity, facilitate “pan-African” communication, promote the general welfare, improve the understanding of Africa, provide programming with the goal of breaking cultural barriers and creating lasting friendships.

Flashettes Majorette Dance Team

Flashettes Majorette Dance Team is a majorettes team that incorporates a cultural style of majorette dancing that is often seen at historically black universities.

The Medlife Movement at 91�ֿ�

MEDLIFE is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that partners with low-income communities in Latin America and Africa to improve their access to medicine, education, and community development projects.

Black Theatre Association

BTA serves as a community organization supporting the Black and POC students in the KSU School of Theatre and Dance.

Latin/x in Theatre

To create a movement of pushing past boundaries of American theatre with influences in the Latin/x community to promote advocacy, equality, and art.

Kent Indian Association

Kent Indian Association is a cultural organization that promotes Indian culture.

91�ֿ� Ceramics Club

The KSU Ceramics club is dedicated to supporting ceramicists through hands-on work, museum and gallery tours and engagement with professional artists. Members can expect to develop news skills and make new connections within Kent and the art world.

KSU American Sign Language Club

The purpose of this organization is to make students, (Deaf, Hard-of-Hearing, Coda's, and ASL Signers), feel welcome at KSU.
