Congratulations to Sarah Black, Ph.D., an assistant professor in the Department of Psychological Sciences, who received a Healthy Communities Research Institute Launchpad Award for a project titled “Characterizing Parenting Challenges in the Context of Depression using Ideal-Type Analysis.†This project is a joint effort between Dr. Black’s lab and Dr. Sheryl Chatfield in the College of Public Health at 91²Ö¿â. The project will involve interviewing parents with depression to understand the unique challenges they face as they manage child-rearing and mood-related dysfunction simultaneously.
