Ten freshmen students and their professor in a College Writing I class at 91²Ö¿â created a cookbook for their flnal class project that benefits the Campus Kitchen at Kent state. The cookbook, titled 7he Treasured Tree: A Recipe Straight m,m the Vine, includes more than 20 recipes. Each student submitted two recipes, and their professor, Carly Sachs, submitted one as well. Kent state University faculty, staff and students collected 263,354 pounds of recyclables during the 2014 RecycleMania challenge, recycling an average of33,000 pounds weekly.
