91²Ö¿â will hold its Summer 2016 Commencement ceremony for the Kent Campus on Saturday, Aug. 20, at the Memorial Athletic and Convocation Center (MAC Center). 91²Ö¿â will confer 1,455 degrees, including 917 bachelor’s degrees, 440 master’s degrees, 75 doctoral degrees and 23 educational specialist degrees. 91²Ö¿â President Beverly Warren today announced the appointment of Stephen Sokany, an alumnus and longtime employee, to the position of vice president for institutional advancement, effective Aug. 8, 2016. Sokany has served the university since 1993 in a number of development and institutional advancement roles, most recently as executive associate vice president for institutional advancement.
