   Kyle Jackson, a member of 91²Ö¿â's Class of 2024 and former star infielder for the Golden Flashes baseball team, is now entertaining legions of fans as a player for the Savannah Bananas exhibition baseball team. Based in Savannah, Georgia, the team is described as "the Harlem Globetrotters of baseball." Beverly Coles-Roby, '74, M.S. '82

After earning a bachelor's and master's degree from 91²Ö¿â, Beverly Coles-Roby, Randolph, MA, taught English in Cleveland Public Schools. In 1982, she moved to Boston to attend law school, passing the bar exam in 1985. Beverly practiced law in Massachusettes for almost 40 years. Upon retiring in July 2023, she decided to make the move to local politics. She  ran for office in her town and was elected to the Randolph School Committee in November 2023.

Jerry O'Ryan, MPH '17

Jerry O'Ryan, Centerville, OH, is an instructor in Sinclair College’s Public Health program who still believes in the power of print, namely newspapers.  Sinclair College's library arranged to get a bulk rate subscription to the local Dayton Daily News, which typically carries up to a dozen articles on public health and medical newsworthy stories. Jerry has has installed several articles in his lesson plans as quizzes so students can be aware of local health issues relevant to public health, which currently include asthma, measles, and maternal and infant health. 

Mitzi Wilson, '85, MAT '02

Mitzi Wilson, North Olmsted OH, started the Sharon Sigel Memorial Scholarship in memory of a sorority sister with an initial gift of $10,000 more than 20 years ago in 2003. Today, it has more than $50,000 in it dedicated to benefiting 91²Ö¿â students who are active members of the Alpha Phi sorority.
