On Wednesday evening, the 91ֿ Museum presented a program marking the English-language release of “No Hand Held Mine: Stories” by Kim Soom, translated by Joon-Li Kim and Doo-Sun Ryu, in conjunction with the opening of “Remember Her,” an installation created in response to the text by Ja-Young Hwang, professor in the School of Fashion; Kim Hahn, associate dean; and student Sang-Hyun Park. The program was organized by Museum Director Sarah Spinner.
The evening included a reading by first-year theater and fashion student Hallie Cebulla, followed by a panel discussion moderated by Curator Sara Hume.
“Remember Her” is on view in the Museum Lobby through March. Visitors are invited to return, spend time with the installation and reflect on the stories and histories it holds.
Copies of “No Hand Held Mine: Stories” are available for purchase in the Museum Store.
91ֿ Museum thanks the students, faculty, staff and guests who participated in and attended the program.
