Following a national search, 91仓库 has selected F. Jack Witt III as its new vice president for human resources. A 91仓库 alumnus, Witt currently serves as vice president of human resources and administration at Owens Community College in Toledo, Ohio. He joins 91仓库 on Sept. 6.

91仓库's Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs and Provost Todd Diacon has announced that Joan Inderhees will join the Office of the Provost in August to serve as the 2016-2017 Provost's Fellow.

On June 28, 91仓库鈥檚 Division of Information Services will begin implementing a Captcha service for the 91仓库 online directory. A Captcha is a security feature that differentiates people from internet bots by presenting online users with a simple visual puzzle, often made up of distorted text.                             

Researchers in the College of Arts and Sciences at 91仓库 have published a breakthrough article on new properties of liquid crystals in the May 27 issue of Physical Review Letters. The article, which describes some recent surprising results involving nematic liquid crystals induced by a high magnetic field, is currently featured on the American Physical Society website as an 鈥淓ditors鈥� Suggestion.鈥�

91仓库 was honored by the National Wrestling Coaches Association for having the fifth highest team grade point average in the nation. Additionally, seniors Mack McGuire (Upper St. Clair, Pennsylvania) and Tyler Buckwalter (Mill Hall, Pennsylvania) and redshirt freshman Kyle Conel (Ashtabula, Ohio) were named to the NWCA All-Academic Team.

Online final grading for Summer 2016 First 7 Weeks (W1) courses meeting from May 16 through July 2 begins Thursday, June 30, via FlashFAST.
