New students (public school)
Students may participate in College Credit Plus through their local school district. Students must follow the CCP process for enrollment. Please contact your local school’s counseling office for more information.
Before applying
Before applying for CCP, students should meet with their local school counselor to discuss the CCP program. Counselors can provide steps for students to complete their Letter of Intent to participate and information on how CCP courses will fulfill high school graduation requirements.
Submit Letter of Intent to the high school
After discussing the opportunity with their local high school administrators, students must submit a Letter of Intent. The Letter of Intent tells their local school district that a student wants to participate in CCP courses. This is typically submitted to the student’s high school counselor. After submitting their Letter of Intent, students must complete an online application for 91ֿ.
Apply to 91ֿ
To officially apply for the program, students must submit the CCP Admissions Application online (LINK?). To be enrolled at 91ֿ, students must complete the following steps to apply:
Create an account with 91ֿ
Before completing the online CCP application, students must create an account with 91ֿ to access the site and its content.
Complete the online CCP application with the student’s information
Students applying for CCP must then fill out a 91ֿ application with the following student information:
Full legal name
A personal (non-school) email address
Date of birth
Social security number
Parent’s email address
Submit middle school grade report or high school transcript
To complete the CCP application, students will be required to submit their grades or transcript to show they are qualified to join the program. This can be a middle school grade report or a high school transcript (depending on the student’s level). These can be requested from the student’s school counselor.
Submit CCP permission form
Students must also complete a CCP Permission Form with their parent or guardian before applying. Students must understand that CCP courses may have mature (college-level) content, and this will not be changed for underaged students. Students can access the College Credit Plus (CCP) permission form through their application portal.

New students (non-public or homeschool)
Non-public and homeschool students planning to join CCP need to send a Funding Application to the State of Ohio by the appointed deadlines. Before they can do this, students must first apply to 91ֿ, because the state funding application requires an acceptance letter.
Students should apply to 91ֿ early so they have enough time to receive their acceptance letter before the funding deadline. 91ֿ application deadlines are: April 15 for summer and fall semester, October 15 for spring.
Apply Online to 91ֿ
While non-public and homeschool students must send a funding application to the State, they need to apply to 91ֿ as a CCP student first. This is because the state requires students to provide an acceptance letter from the college as part of the Funding Application.

After a student receives their acceptance letter, they must submit a Funding Application to the state to complete the process. This Funding Application begins with a Letter of Intent to indicate that the student wants to enroll in CCP. Non-private and homeschool students must apply for funding from the state because the cost of courses are not covered by a local high school.

CCP allows students to earn credits that count for a future degree. Students continuing CCP courses must submit a Letter of Intent and a CCP Continuation Form before the semester deadline.

Submit CCP Continuation Form
Students must also complete a CCP Continuation Form that will be sent to their 91ֿ email. This form updates students’ enrollment at CCP. (LINK?)
NOTE: If a student skips a semester
Students who skipped a semester may need to reapply for the CCP program. If this is the case, the student must follow the steps to apply outlined in “New students”. (LINK?)

You’ve been admitted! Now what?
Once admitted to 91ֿ, students become part of the College Credit Plus program. Before registering for courses, students must meet with their academic advisor and complete the online New Student Orientation.
Check 91ֿ emails for updates and guidance
Students’ 91ֿ emails will receive messages with instructions for their next steps. These instructions cover:
• New Student Orientation
• Advising
• Scheduling
• Other required forms
Students must regularly check their emails to stay up to date with the CCP process.
Complete the New student Orientation
New CCP students will receive an email with a link to the New Student Orientation. The orientation will be completed in Canvas, which serves as students’ home for courses and assignments. The online New Student Orientation helps students begin their education by:
• Informing students of CCP protocols
• Familiarizing students with the program
• Giving students a tour of course sites
Maturity questionnaire
To complete the orientation, students must fill out a maturity questionnaire. In this form, students must acknowledge that CCP course content may be mature and will not be changed for underaged students.
Academic advising
After completing the New Student Orientation, students will meet with their assigned academic advisor. Students are required to meet with an academic advisor to help them schedule their courses for the semester. 91ֿ’s academic advisors are here to help students align their goals and interests with their course schedule.
Scheduling an advising appointment
To register for courses, students must meet with their academic advisor. Advising appointments are scheduled through KSU Navigate using students’ 91ֿ login. Instructions to schedule an advising appointment with KSU Navigate may be sent through email.
Students may access KSU Navigate from a mobile device (from the app) or on a web browser. For more information, please visit the KSU Navigate website. (LINK?)
Topics to discuss with an academic advisor
91ֿ advisors will help students find out which courses will benefit them. Important topics to discuss with an advisor include:
• College goals
Students should share their goals and ambitions with CCP with their academic advisors. Advisors can help students choose courses that help them achieve their goals and succeed in CCP.
• High school graduation requirements
CCP students earn both high school and college credit. This means that students need to make sure that they are also meeting their high school graduation requirements when they schedule courses.
• The ‘First 15’ rule
Students must begin by taking Level I (starter) courses, before moving on to other CCP courses. Academic advisors can help guide students to make sure they meet the ‘First 15’ requirements.
University Resources
Prepare for courses
Before courses begin, students must make sure to have the materials needed to complete their coursework.

Students must make sure that they have or have access to a computer for assignments and coursework. The computer must have a stable internet connection so students can reliably access course content and complete their work on time.
Course materials
Students must order textbooks or other materials before the semester begins. Instructions for ordering textbooks may be sent to their emails. To see course materials, visit the 91ֿ bookstore site. (LINK?)
