Video: Center for the Visual Arts Opens with Grand Celebration

The School of Art's newly completed Center for the Visual Arts celebrated its grand opening on May 6. A large crowd filled the building lobby for the opening ceremony, which was followed by tours, live music, student exhibitions and a keynote lecture by visiting artist Mel Chin. They collaborated with internationally acclaimed visiting guest artists, School of Art faculty, and each other in a residency style workshop, creating artworks and developing their skills. Workshops offered included ceramics, glass, painting and textiles.  

The School of Art Collection and Galleries at 91²Ö¿â is pleased to announce its latest exhibition: Riffing on the Human Condition, featuring the work of Joe Lanzilotta and Justin Will.
